DECA Analytics — Summer Internship (2026)
About the opportunity:
This internship is offered by DECA Analytics and is part of El Comeback Fellows, a pilot program by El Comeback that partners with employers to complement internships with structured professional development.
The selected candidate will gain hands-on experience at DECA while participating in weekly professional development sessions that build workplace skills.
Program Structure:
- Mon–Thurs: Internship with DECA (hybrid)
- Fridays: Professional development sessions in-person (Labs) (8:30 AM – 12:30 PM)
- Duration: 8 weeks | Paid ($15/hour)
Labs focus on:
- Workplace skills and professional communication
- Career readiness and navigating early work experiences
- Practical tools, including AI, for research, analysis, and productivity
- Applying what you learn directly to your internship experience
About DECA Analytics:
DECA Analytics is a Puerto Rico-based firm specializing in financial analysis, consulting, tax incentives, and legal services, helping clients navigate complex regulatory environments through AI-driven tools and local expertise.
The Role:
As a DECA Summer Intern, you will work on real projects with defined deliverables, collaborating directly with experienced professionals and presenting your work at the end of the program.
What You'll Do:
- Work on a defined project with clear deliverables
- Conduct research, analysis, and documentation
- Present your work at the end of the internship
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to ongoing work
Who Should Apply:
- 2nd or 3rd year undergraduate students
- Background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Law, or related
- Strong work ethic, ownership, and curiosity

How the Process Works:
The El Comeback team reviews all applications and interviews selected candidates. Candidates who move forward are referred to DECA Analytics, which conducts final interviews and makes the hiring decision.
Program Commitment:
This opportunity includes weekly in-person Friday professional development sessions (Labs), which are a required part of the experience. Selected candidates will be asked to confirm their commitment to attend and actively participate in all sessions.
